StageBox v1.1 update
StageBox v1.1 is now available. Along with a few minor bug fixes, this adds a MIDI note input mute per sound, which is a really useful way to manage large ‘mega patches’.
For example, if you wanted to create one Song file that had many different layers of Sounds, and you wanted to be able to add and take away those layers with mutes, it makes more sense from a performance point of view to do that with MIDI mutes rather than Audio mutes. You can of course also just use the MIDI mappable volume controls for each layer, but for section changes in Songs, sometimes a mute / un-mute approach makes more sense.
Also added in v1.1 is a MIDI filter for program change messages. You may find that when selecting a Song with a MIDI program change from an external device, the preset on a plug-in in that Song changes. This is because some plug-ins allow MIDI program change messages to change their presets by default. If you can’t turn this functionality off within the plug-in itself, you can filter MIDI program change messages from the affected Sound by changing the “Allowed MIDI events” settings.
